The Club is open for drop in sessions Monday - Friday from 09:30 to 4:30pm and is primarily aimed at men and women aged 50+. New members are always welcome. To find out if this is something you would want to do, please visit the club or leave your details at the Community Centre reception and we’ll get back to you.
The club fees are £10 per month. Most members pay this by standing order. These fees help pay our rent and purchase the many consumables provided to our members; i.e. teabags and biscuits; screws & glues; sandpapers & sticking plasters etc.
The club holds quarterly meetings where any current issues concerning the club are discussed. At these meetings club members also contribute their time to thorough workshop and machinery cleaning sessions.
Wood for projects is available within the club, much of this is donated and is often free to use. Other timber may have been purchased by the club and members are usually asked to contribute to the cost if using this wood. Members are of course free to bring their own timber for their own projects and limited storage facilities are available for this.
