The Glasgow Woodworking Club provides facilities for persons to come together and pursue the hobby of woodworking. Members are happy to share their knowledge and skills with each other and of course, with any new members coming to the club.
Reminiscent of the workplace, members normally take a Tea Break at every session when everyone downs tools and enjoys a brew and a chat.
The woodworking projects carried out by members provide mental stimulation and help maintain manual dexterity when using hand tools.
Located in Penilee Community Centre, the club is a safe; warm and inclusive environment which is readily accessible for older persons.
